Why I'm participating in Sleep In 2022
Hi friends!
On the weekend of March 18-20, 2022, I am participating in Project Sleep's Sleep In 2022 (#SleepIn2022) to raise awareness about sleep health and sleep disorders in celebration of National Sleep Week!
Sleep is a misunderstood and often-overlooked pillar of health. Sleepiness is NOT laziness. By participating in Project Sleep’s Sleep In 2022, I hope to reminding others of the importance of sleep, rest and recovery.
DID YOU KNOW? Nearly 70 percent of adults report insufficient sleep or rest at least once a month and nearly 70 percent of high school adolescents sleep less than the recommended 8-9 hours a night. An estimated 1 in 5 Americans chronically live with a sleep or circadian disorder, yet a majority of those individuals are undiagnosed.
Project Sleep is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to raise awareness about sleep health and sleep disorders. The organization's mission is to make sleep cool!
Thank you for your support!
